Dina Yankelewiz
Chairman
Dina Yankelewitz holds a doctorate in mathematics education from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and has been involved in education and training for over a decade as a graduate and undergraduate level professor, math coach, teacher educator, and teacher. With experience in the staffing industry and currently a Data and Analytics Manager at Pearson, she dreams of bringing well-paying jobs to those who need them most.
Miriam Gerstein
Treasurer
Dr. Miriam Gerstein is one of the founding members of Partners in Skills and has been serving as its CFO over the past five years, She holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Touro College and a PhD from Rutgers University. Dr. Gerstein is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and she has practiced accounting in the private sector in the State of New Jersey, where she currently resides. Dr. Gerstein is a tenured associate professor of accounting at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
Leah Honigwachs
Secretary
Lea Honigwachs holds a BA from Barnard College and MA and PhD degrees from Columbia University. A former college professor, she has worked in university administration, most recently as Registrar at Brooklyn College of the City University of New York. She is currently a higher education officer at Brooklyn College, handling curricular issues and publications for the college. Dr. Honigwachs takes joy in understanding individual career needs and providing advisement and direction to those seeking a better career opportunity.
